Every year with Dominic is more fun than the last. He’s such a smart, fun, funny kid. He loves school, loves LEGOS, and loves to read. We both love the beach and the water - this past summer we did a big kid beach day. He loves to be outside.

Dominic was the most observant baby ever. He wanted to be held upright so he could take everything in. He’s still an observer now - he notices everything. There are so many things I would have missed if Dominic had not pointed them out to me. I hope he never loses this wonderful quality.

This is my absolute favorite picture of Dominic as a baby. Moments after birth. He wasn’t crying. His eyes were wide open, taking in the world. 2 minutes old and this basically captures his personality!

Dominic is relentlessly curious. He wants to look at and touch everything to test how it works. Whenever it drives me crazy I try and remind myself that this curiousity is a really good thing. He’s always learning new things.

Dominic loves to be with us even if he’s doing his own thing. He’s a kid who will opt to build a LEGO set at the dining room table so he can chat while I’m in the kitchen. He loves to help out with whatever we’re working on. He’s my cooking buddy. He loves to organize the family calendar with me.

90% of the time he and his brother play really nicely together.

The older he gets, the more fun we have. I love answering his questions and seeing him start to develop his own social circle and interests.

We just love him so much! His personality is fun and loving. He’s a champion cuddler! He has a smile for everyone he sees. He’s polite and tries really hard to do the right thing.
