A Month of Thanks - Day 12 - Zachary
This kid. I didn’t realize a 3-year-old could have so much personality. Of course he’s only 3, but we all get the feeling he’s going to have a great sense of humor when he grows up.
He’s my cuddle bug. He makes us smile every day. He’s a really verbal kid for 3, and he’s quick to start telling everyone he loves them, especially when he’s having fun and feeling super happy.
This is my favorite newborn picture of Zachary. It captures his personality so well. All he wanted to do as a small baby was cuddle and sleep on my chest. A day old and he was already being our cuddle boy.
As time passes, he becomes more and more fun! He loves to go on walks and play outside. He is really into the movie Cars and is really good at entertaining himself at home. He loves wearing hats and sunglasses (especially my sunglasses).
He loves his big brother. Dominic is super good with him most of the time, so Zach is always looking over and seeing what Dom is doing - then tries to copy it. If Dom does it, Zach wants in. Now that Zach is a little older and can have a conversation, the two of them have started playing together - like setting up hospital beds upstairs and playing doctor with their stuffed animals.
Watching his loving, comedic personality develop brings so much joy. I can’t wait to see what he’s like when he’s Dominic’s age!
November is one of my favorite times of year. It’s getting cozy and we aren’t yet in the thick of the Christmas season quite yet. I’m thinking about the ways I’m thankful and would love for you to join me. Comment below or use the hashtag #amonthofthanks
