A Month of Thanks - Day 13 - Dennis' Parents

I’ve always felt included in Dennis’ family. Like, from day 1. I was 15 and they made it a point to invite me to everything in their family. I was always welcome.

I call his parents mom and dad - they are helpful and caring and love our kids to pieces. Dominic and Zachary love going to their place for sleepovers. They always plan something fun for them. Campfires, a trip to the park, they’ve even camped in the backyard!

They’re loving people and they love to spend time with us. I grew up with only one set of grandparents. They were awesome, but I’m so happy my kids have two sets of grandparents who adore them. You can’t ask for much more than that!
