A Month of Thanks - Day 6 - Cooking
I’ve heard that everyone has a love language. I’m not always sure what mine is, but often I think cooking may be one of them. It’s not always fancy, but it brings me joy to be in the kitchen making something delicious.
Dominic loves to help me in the kitchen - so I’m hoping he’s getting life skills as well as learning to do something fun. He’s even more willing to try new food when he gets to help make it.
At this point, Zachary just likes to watch the mixer and sometimes sniff the ingredients but I think he’ll get there too.
Weeknights can sometimes feel rushed, but when I’m not under pressure (I think this is a result of having small kids) I think it’s so fun to try new recipes.
I am not a Pinterest mom, but I can make a mean banana bread.
November is one of my favorite times of year. It’s getting cozy and we aren’t yet in the thick of the Christmas season quite yet. I’m thinking about the ways I’m thankful and would love for you to join me. Comment below or use the hashtag #amonthofthanks
