A Month of Thanks - Day 21 - Outside
I love everything about the outdors. Every kind of weather is fine by me.
This beautiful lake is only 7 minutes away from our house. I took the kids there a lot this summer. It was so easy to throw a few towels in the back seat and play for a couple of hours after Zach woke from his nap.
I don’t mind rainy days - I love the sound and how it forces you to stay inside and be cozy. I love sunny days - especially warm ones when we get to be outside all day. I love snow - I like to bundle up, and I love the quiet of a snow storm.
The view up the hill on the side of my house is one of my favorite things. We visited this house about 100 times before we moved in, but I didn’t notice this particular view until the day we moved in. I especially love it on winter mornings because the sunlight hits the tops of the trees first.
Every season. Sunrise. Sunset. I appreciate it all. I love everything about being outside. And I push the kids to be out there a lot too - or at least notice what’s happening out there.
