A few years ago I tried a service called Naked Wines. It has been one of my best decisions!

How it works - I pay a subscription per month and 100% of the money goes towards wine I want to purchase. I usually let a few months accumulate and then order a case. You can hand select the wines that go into your order. Or, if you want to try a variety, they have a bunch of mixed cases you can try (I’ve found some of my new favorites this way!). Want to take all the guesswork out of things? You can subscribe to the Wine Geine and they will send you a case on a schedule. Find a wine you really love? You can reserve a case and when that vinteage comes out they’ll send it to you.

Prices are great! Everything at Naked Wines come from small, independent winemakers. Not stuff you can just pick up at the store.

I’ve had so much fun geeking out about this. I started a spreadsheet to track the wines I really love. I’ve experimented with the mixed cases and the wine geine. I’ve found some wines I absolutely love and reserved a case. And often I receive a free gift bottle with my order!

Their customer service is absolutely amazing! I always get a friendly email from an actual human being when I’ve had a question or needed something fixed. And they’re great about giving you a head’s up before something gets charged to your account so you have plenty of time to postpone.
